Q: How does my job prospects improve with my free web site at www.hireAsian.com ?
A: Try adding the following line in your typed biodata and see how your image goes up
" Home page URL: www.hireasian.com/yourname "
It shows that you are a dynamic,aggressive job seeker familiar with the latest technologies.
You can include more information than what you can put in a typed biodata. A prospective employer can look at the site to know more about you and your whereabouts.
You can use links and book marks, so that the viewer needs to look only at the information he/she is interested in. For example give a menu at the top of the page like "Personal information", "Educational details", "Work experience","Details of projects done-1st project"... etc. and provide a link ( book mark ) to the location in the page where the information is available.
Your page is also searched by search engines visiting this site. You may also get listed when someone is searching for a candidate of a specified qualification from some other site. ( we will give you tips on "how to make your page more visible to search engines" ).
Our database for the job seekers are these WEB pages. Our own search engine will select candidates from these sites and notifies you by e-mail and post your biodata automatically.
But remember -- All this goes in vein if your site is slow -- We will not put advertisements or banners in your site, as is done in usual home pages. So all this is absolutely FREE, and you can trust on us...
Q: Will my WEB site be reliable,secure, and efficient -- Where is the server and how it works ?
A: This server is located at Illinois-Chicago, very close to the internet backbone in U.S. ( where by you can expect the maximum speed possible). The data is stored on two computers simultaneously ( dual server ). This server also provide multiple T3 Connectivity in telco-hardened facility with redundant power back-up, fire suppression, and secure access with 24 X 7 (24 hours, 7 days a week) support.
This server uses the UNIX operating system-- less risk for viruses.
Q: How do I create my FREE WEB Site ?
A: Now any one can create a free
web site at www.hireasian.com. You may try first with your biodata. We at hireAsian.com
are fully willing to support you in these activities. Feel free to write to teacher@hireAsian.com . No prior programming
knowledge required. Freshers may use this facility for online interactive learning of WEB
Design ( you cannot get this kind of live experience from any computer college ).
Step 1: Design a WEB page:

Use Microsoft-WORD, and type in your biodata ( Use different colours, fonts etc. but avoid
pictures at this stage ). In the file menu, there is an option called "Save as
html". Click this, give a file name say "RAMAN.HTML". The file is saved and
you have designed your WEB page (say this is in the directory c:\ram ). If you have an
already typed biodata, open it using MS-WORD, select the "save as HTML" option
and give a suitable file name ( when you "save as html" some of the formatting
may be lost. Edit the page to correct the formats ). Alternatively, open a "new
file" ie; goto the Menu bar, select File, select New ( Ctrl+N ). Now
you get a dialog box, where there is an option called WEB PAGE. Select this, and
you see an icon for "Blank WEB Page". Select this and start typing the data.
Just save the file.
Alternatively you can use "Netscape Composer" (this is with the Netscape
Navigator), or "Front Page", or any other page design tool to create your WEB
page
Now you have your WEB page named "RAMAN.html" in the directory
"c:\ram"
(2) Goto our site www.hireasian.com (use any browser like "internet explorer").
Goto the "Site Manager" option. You can see two data input boxes as below:
Enter "the name you choose" for your WEB Site...........
Enter the File Name (Your HTML page)...................
In the first data input box type any name ( 3 to 10 characters ), say RAMAN.
ie: Enter "the name you choose" for your WEB Site......RAMAN
You can see a BROWSE button near to the second data input box. Click on this ( it shows
the directory of the files in your computer ). Select your WEB page file
(c:\ram\RAMAN.HTML). Press OPEN. The file name appears in the data input box.
Alternatively if you know clearly the path of your file just type it in the data input
box.
ie: Enter the File Name (Your HTML page)...c:\ram\RAMAN.HTML
Now click on the "create WEB Site" button. Your site is created on our Server.
The first page in your site ( we call it "index.html") will be the file you
mentioned above. You can see your WEB page at the site address
"www.hireasian.com/RAMAN" immediately after the contents are evaluated legal
(this may take upto 24 hours). That is all to do... You can start publicizing
your WEB Site and enjoy the benefits absolutely FREE.
(4) I am not an expert programmer. Can I use "Microsoft Front Page" for creating WEB pages ?.
A: Yes. Very much. This server has "Microsoft Front Page Server Extensions" support. Thus all features of Front Page are supported. ( Use Hit Counter, Marquee, Hover button or any other features in your WEB page ).
(5) How do I make my FREE WEB site popular ?
A: There are various site promotion facilities available with internet, like:
(a) Submit your site address ("www.hireAsian.com/yourname") to Search Engines:
This will result in the "Search Engine" recording your site address in their database, and when someone else "searches for some key word in any other machine connected with the internet", your site also gets listed in the search results. For this service, you have to go to the individual site and fill out a registration form ( this is also a free service ). Some of the sites for this are:
