INPEX is designing first-class onshore and offshore facilities, using world leading LNG technology, for the expected 40 year life of the Ichthys Field.

We’re looking for the industry best to join our expanding team of experts working around the world to deliver the Ichthys Project.

INPEX offers you the opportunity to get involved at this early front end engineering and design (FEED) phase and develop your career as part of this massive LNG project.

This opportunity is for a Civil Engineer to work as part of our engineering team and oversee engineering design activities relating to Civil and Building works for the development of our onshore LNG facilities. This work is being carried out by our engineering contractor in Yokohama, Japan.

Major scopes of work, and therefore areas in which demonstrated experience will be required, include:
• Earth Works,
• Sewage and Drainage
• Road and Pavement
• Structure (e.g. Storage tanks)
• Temporary facilities design and analysis,
• Building design and analysis
• Foundation design and analysis
• Steel structures design and analysis
• Liaise with INPEX Perth Office, relevant contractors, and relevant authorities
To be successful in this role you will need to be a degree qualified Civil Engineer and have extensive experience in civil engineering conceptual design, basic engineering, detailed engineering, and construction phases of a large LNG Project. You will also need to be self-driven and able to work as part of a dynamic and high performing team.
