Our client is looking for an experienced ICT Specialist for a short term contract fixed for two months but may be extended.

The required services mainly foresees the on the job training and other training of company ICT staff on site while providing the maintenance, diagnosis, localisation and repair of any malfunction in the above mentioned equipment, the replacement of any defective system components and the update of any hardware and software required and adding new features or functions in order to ensure full function ability 24/7 of these systems.

Duties:
• Provide on the job training on site for ICT Personnel during trouble shooting and maintenance of eventual system failures ensuring their continuous participation in all maintenance activities to learn more on the troubleshooting process.
• Provide additional training to ICT personnel if necessary and recommend further training.
Education:
• University degree or equivalent in Telecommunications Engineering and/or Information Systems or related technical fields. Other diploma with a relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Work experience at least five years of progressively responsible experience in the field of communications and/or information systems with at least two years in the Oil & Gas Industry.

The successful candidate will have considerable experience with the following equipment:

SDH Multiplexer System
PDH Multiplexer System
Public Address System
Intruder Detection System
Meteorological System
CCTV System
Hotline System
Entertainment System
Video Conferencing

Other skills:
• Ability to work on own initiative in all situations
• Flexible attitude to working hours
• Analytical thinking with highly professional skills, care and judgement in the performance of the duties.
