Over 7 years of experience working on a Government installation supporting the US Military and Armed forces in a variety of skilled areas. Performs administrative and office support activities for multiple supervisors. Duties include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, filing, and faxing. Develops, plans work, and maintain updated and accurate inventories. Ability to maintain timesheets and scheduling leaves for employees and monitors facility maintenance activities. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving ability, time management skills and interpersonal skills. Either monitor follow-up list in service database and calls customers directly or have service personnel call for follow-up. A team player, acknowledged as a “Total Quality Customer Service Professional.”

WORK EXPERIENCE

Oct 2008 to Current Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan AGS/AECOM Administrative Assistant
Complete dictation, word processing, typing, faxing and emails, copies/scans documents and other materials; maintain files including training records and course records, schedule appointments, meetings, regularly occurring tasks and takes messages; schedule regular and special training classes and preparing presentation; prepare and monitor correspondence as requested and indicated by the needs of the program. Will assist in the preparation of reports and training logs, schedule events as they pertain to the department; collect information for Executive Director/Department Director and provides support for special or ongoing projects as directed by Executive Director/Director; prepare check requests & requisition and process invoice/bill preparation for all appropriate entities.


June 2007- Oct 2008 Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan AGS/AECOM Help Desk / Front Desk Officer
Receives and process work orders through the database. Co-ordinates with the Maintenance Team Supervisor in planning work schedules, sequence of facility maintenance operations, and distribution of work to five facility maintenance teams. Assist in assigning work, explaining work requirements, methods, and procedures. Constantly monitors the help desk to ensure all procedures performed safely. Responsible for collecting daily Time sheets from the five facilities maintenance teams.
June 2005-June 2007 Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan AGS/AECOM Senior Billeting Clerk
Cooridinates and plans the billeting assignments and furnishing for all AECOM and AFSBN personnel. Performs and supervises joint issue, pre-and final clearance to include property accountability, configuration correctness, factuality checks and cleanliness. Monitor temporary and permanent living quarters for 800 personnel. Supervises, escorts, and directs 100+ employees on a government installation. Identifies discrepancies be corrected by residents/occupants and verifies corrective actions. Responsible for assigning rooms and proper check proper inventory. Conducts periodic preventative facility maintenance and health inspections to ensure residents are taking proper care of facilities and reports finding to the Facilities Manager. Coordinates with Supply office for replacements and furnish. Supervise departure clearance inspections to ensure property accountability, configuration correctness, functionality checks and cleanliness. Plans work schedules and/or sequence of operations in order to assure even distribution of work and meeting deadlines. Resolves complaints of employees and refers others to management.

Under supervision, incumbents operate a general store facility in a large operation providing service to grants, contracts, and projects; perform operational duties in ordering, receiving, storing, inventory, issuing, and distributing, shipping and record keeping. Determine stock items and stock levels; locate and order non-stock items and equipment parts. Prepares and expedite orders; inspect items received; handle freight claims, quantity shortages, duplicate shipments and back orders.

Jan 1993- Mar 1994 In Support of U.S. Military Training Mission, Saudi Arabia Billeting Clerk
Responsible for billeting cleaning vacant rooms, assigning rooms, key control and storage of the Billeting Materials and day to day maintenance of the Training Compound and Billeting Office. Performs various duties concerned with managing one or more family housing projects, billeting facilities, or other accommodations such as transient or permanent individual living quarters, and restricted occupancy buildings.
