Join the Ventrix™ team and be a part of the next generation Contextual Advertising platform. The Ventrix™ team is responsible for building systems that include massive large scale databases, data engines, contextual search engines, ad delivery engines, data mining engines etc.

We are looking for database developers with strong database architecture and design skills. Candidate should demonstrate expertise with T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, replication, SSIS and other advanced SQL features. Excellent performance analysis skills, including techniques for analyzing database applications and identifying bottlenecks, experience in understanding SQL Server query plans and estimates, optimizing indexes and queries, techniques to force query plans is a must. Strong testing skills are preferred. You will be responsible for testing your own code end to end, writing unit tests, functional tests as well as perf testing/tuning you own code.

The team has an agile development environment with short release cycles and dynamic business requirements. Strong communication, design and planning skills are necessary to scope and plan development work in order to meet business objectives.

Qualifications: Database design and development experience with large scale OLTP applications is required. At least 6-8 years of work related experience is required. Strong communication skills are preferred. Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related technical field required. Candidates with advanced degrees are preferred.
