Software Development Engineer
Join the Ventrix™ team and be a part of the next generation Contextual Advertising platform. The Ventrix™ team is responsible for building systems that include massive large scale databases, data engines, contextual search engines, ad delivery engines, data mining engines etc.

We are looking for the right software developer to fill a key role on our Ventrix™ advertising and search team. As a member of the rapid prototyping team you will get to work on a variety of V1 projects that attempt to meld Web 2.0 technology, community participation, and a new level of depth to the search and advertising experience. Innovation is the key to this position, we are looking for developers who want to innovate and test the boundaries of what’s been done before.

We have just green lighted our first project so now’s the time to get onboard and start making a difference. The right candidate must be risk tolerant and able to work effectively in an ambiguous and sometimes chaotic environment of a V1 project.

We are looking for an exceedingly strong developer that is passionate about technology vision and exemplary in technical skills.


Requirements:
• BS/BA in computer science, mathematics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience building scalable and performance systems
• Exceptional troubleshooting and investigation skills
• Experience in data analysis or data mining a plus
• Experience in E-Commerce, Machine Learning or Algorithms and Online Advertising Systems a definite plus
• Technical skills must include C#, SQL, ASP.Net, web services. Experience with Windows Services, Networking, HTML, and XML or multimedia will be pluses.
• Good grasp of algorithms and advanced data structures
• Good understanding of a scripting language such as Perl, Python a plus
• Complete understanding of internet technologies, web browsers, and HTML
