Acquired the knowledge on the various operations of the restaurant business through projects and researches including conceptualization of Local Store Marketing Promotions. Presented several LSM promotions for Tequila Joe’s and California Pizza Kitchen, which was implemented by the company.

April – May 2003 TRAINEE, THE DIPLOMATIC POST PUBLISHING CORPORATION (TDPPC) Worked as a project head for the Malaysia Reference magazine. Acquired the knowledge on the operations of a publishing company, especially in the solicitations area.

August 2003 A SERVICE PLAN FOR CALIFORNIA PIZZA KITCHEN – MAKATI
A thesis paper focusing on the services aspect of California Pizza Kitchen – Makati. The said paper provides an in-depth study on the service business, analyzing the critical service points and providing several proposals to improve the service business. Included in the proposals are LSM promotions and advertisements, as well as capacity utilization and investment plan. The said paper is also nominated for best thesis.

April 2003 PINOYDELIKASI: SERVING FILIPINO HOMES ABROAD
An export plan for an e-commerce Filipino company that proposes several market strategies to enhance the company’s strength of being a pioneer in the e-trade business.

December 2002 GERRY’S GRILL SERVICE PLAN
A service plan that proposes several changes at Gerry’s Grill Tomas Morato, such as promotions, service changes, and pricing strategies. Such information could serve as a guideline for the said restaurant in order to increase its guests and maintain the quality of its service.

December 2002 PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT PLAN
A research paper for a proposed new product, a two-colored correction pen. The product answers to the need of yellow pad users for a correction pen that does not alter the color of the said paper.

August 2002 A PROPOSED RETAIL PLAN
A project paper for a proposed masseur/massage center to be called “Chic: masseur for men and women”. The paper aims to revitalize the concept of masseurs, moving away from the negative perception towards massage centers. Positioned as the new way to a healthy life, the plan includes pricing and promotion strategies to attract class AB market.

August 2002 MASCULINE CONFIDENCE: SUNSILK SILVER
An advertising campaign to reposition the image of Sunsilk shampoo brand from a female shampoo to a unisex shampoo. A new variant is conceptualized, which is Sunsilk Silver, to address the male market.

A paper that presented an understanding of the frequency and effect of the billboards, as communication channel, towards the target market. Moreover, a suggested advertising budget is included which comprise of the different medium that can be used by a company in creating an integrated marketing campaign.

July 2002 PAGANDA NG PAGANDA, SUNSILK
An analysis of the different traditional and non-traditional advertising campaigns of Sunsilk Shampoo. The analysis covers the period from 1994 – 2000. The paper exhibits the transformation of the advertising campaign as seen by the different ads presented.

April 2002 BRAND-WAGON: THE DIFFERENT PERCEPTION ON DESIGNER BRANDS
A study on the different buying behavior of selected students from several universities such as DLSU, ADMU, FEU, and UST. The paper provides the relationship between the students’ perception on designer clothes and their buying predisposition.

April 2002 CAUGHT IN AN INESCAPABLE WEB: LIVES OF FILIPINO WOMEN VICTIMS OF SEX TRAFFICKING TO THE EUROPEAN UNION
A thesis regarding the current increase in the occurrence of sex trafficking in the world, in particular the paper discusses the experiences of the Filipino women victims of sex trafficking and its implications to the RP-EU bilateral relationship. Furthermore, analyses of the existing laws were also conducted to see if there were changes in such laws upon the discovery of such a traumatic experience.
