(www.stmi.com). The company is having its networks in 76 countries and presence in 52 countries.

Project:
· 1000 sites VSATs for rural telephony in Nepal. Hub is integrated with Alcatel, Siemens and C-Dot switches. The remote VSATs connect to hub and the calls are then routed to the switches and further to the respective destinations.
· Station Manager – Nepal, for the ongoing project as well as all commercial and business development activities in the country.

My Role:

· Supervision of installation and commissioning of complete MCPC DAMA network including remote sites and earth station for SES Solante at Kathmandu, Nepal for Nepal Telecommunication Corporation.
· Installation of Solar Power Systems and rectifiers for the remote sites.
· Technical support for installation and maintenance of network.
· Acceptance testing of the equipment supplied.
· Network Administration for Network Management System based on Sun Solaris.
· Maintenance of hub for day today operations (RF signal levels and hardware maintenance).
· Supervising installation of the equipment supplied to the NTC.
· Involved in Pre sales and post sales technical support.

My Role:
· Installation and commissioning of VSATs and setting up of WAN in Rajasthan State, largest in terms of size in India, covering 116 sites.
· Implementing TCP/IP on windows98 at Nodes.
· Integrating LAN with WAN using CISCO 2601 router.
· Installing Nortel VPN client at a few nodes
· Training customer regarding the functioning of VSAT and WAN.

Pioneer in the field of Satellite Communication in India, India Satcom Limited is dealing in VSATs, turnkey solutions for Telecom and Satcom, and software development. Customer Support Department was dealing with WAN based on VSATs for Video, Voice and IP data over Satellite, Govt. of India being the major client.

My Role:
· My role as Customer Support Engineer involved installation, commissioning and maintenance of WAN based on VSATs. More than 250 VSATs based on DAMA, PAMA, CDMA, TDMA and FTDMA technologies have been installed individually till date and were being maintained by me.
· Team member in installation of ISBN hub.
· Provide support to marketing department for developing formal project proposals, demonstrate, and install VSATs, train operators, provide documentation and hand over working systems to the customers.
· Integrate LAN with WAN using routers and switches.
· Implemented ISBN and DPC (Hughes Network Systems), Skystar Advantage and Sky Surfer (Gilat) Network in Rajasthan. This was done on time and within budget. The service met its quality objectives. Effect: High customer satisfaction with prospects for growth and new orders.
· Maintained CDMA based C-200 VSATs (India Satcom Limited) for over 5 years
· Implemented and maintained the Wide as well as Local Area Network for Satellite Money Order Project of Department of Post, India, for Rajasthan, India using VSATs and modems.
